|Dr David Goodworth (m)|
MB ChB DRCOG
Dr Goodworth, qualified in 1984 from Manchester, then went to Cornwall to complete his GP Training Scheme before joining the practice in February 1990.
He became senior partner in 2014. Dr Goodworth enjoys all aspects of General Practice but particularly respiratory medicine and mens health.
He has 3 sons who keep him very busy. He enjoys being active, including walking his dog and will attempt most sports. After running 4 marathons his knees are hoping there will be no more! At some stage he would like to climb Mount Kilemanjaro and cycle from John o’ Groats to Lands End.

MBBS BSc MRCGP MRCGP PGCert MedEd
Dr Cole qualified at University College London in 1992. He joined the Birchwood practice in 1999.
He has an interest in ophthalmology, enjoys supporting newly qualified doctors in general practice experience, and is a GP registrar trainer.
He is married with two daughters, enjoys playing guitar, and windsurfing in his (very limited) spare time.

MA BM BCh (Oxon) MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Wallace qualified from Oxford University in 2007, then went on to complete his GP training in Wessex.
He joined the practice in June 2014 Dr Wallace enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a specialist interest in Dermatology.
He enjoys tennis, squash, cycling and kitesurfing.

MBCHb BSc (Hons) MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Platts qualified from Warwick Medical School in 2007 but studied Zoology at Newcastle University before deciding to become a doctor. She completed her medical training in Wessex and joined the Practice part time in late 2014.
She enjoys all aspects of general practice but has specialist interests in paediatrics and ENT.
In her spare time she is kept busy by her 3 children. When she is able to she enjoys all types of watersports but especially windsurfing, sailing and kite surfing.

MBBCh DRCOG MRCGP DFSRH
Dr Carey graduated from Cardiff University School of Medicine in 2006. She joined us in October 2015 having previously worked in South Wales and Perth, Western Australia.
Since completing her GP training in Dorset, she has developed an interest in women’s health and completed a diploma in family planning and sexual health.
Along with her husband Will, a local dentist, she has a keen interest in triathlons, travelling and rugby. She also finds the time to play netball and is currently learning the guitar.
